Community Gardening

For the urbanite who is looking for more than limited container gardening, community gardens are a wonderful resource. From a community standpoint, community gardens offer a way to beautify a neighborhood, preserve open spaces, improve air quality, and promote community development by making gardening a social experience.

From an individual standpoint, community gardening is a great opportunity for people who otherwise don't have access to land to plant full, robust gardens in the ground, and enjoy the literal fruits of their labor.

For a small seasonal fee, community gardens provide everything you need: space, tools, a water source, and expert advice. Each garden is different and has different rules, but they are all important aspects of a healthy city.
